ORANGE BEACH, ALA. – Sylvania Police Chief Jeremy Ake was honored during the annual Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in Orange Beach, Alabama, for completing several hours of advanced training in law enforcement. Kaleb Littlejohn, Director of the Center for Best Practices in Law Enforcement at Jacksonville State University and UPACE Partner, stated, “I take pleasure in announcing that Chief Jeremy Ake of the Sylvania Police Department has completed 160 hours of training in the Certified Law Enforcement Executive Program.” Ake had the opportunity to take a variety of classes covering the following titles:
